What is performance-based physical therapy?

Performance-based physical therapy focuses on treating you as a whole person — not just your symptoms. Care is tailored to your lifestyle, sport, work demands, and long-term goals. The emphasis is on active treatment, movement, strength, and education so you recover fully and stay pain-free long after therapy ends.

What happens during a typical session?

Each visit focuses on addressing the root cause of your problem — not just temporary symptom relief. Sessions may include:

– Hands-on manual therapy
– Corrective exercise and strength work
– Movement retraining
– Education for long-term success

Your time is spent actively improving function rather than relying on passive treatments alone.

Do you accept health insurance?

We accept all Medicare B plans, including their secondaries, however, we are out of network with most other commercial policies. This allows us deliver higher-quality care without insurance restrictions on time, techniques or number visits.

However, many plans offer out of network benefits. We can provide documentation a bill that will submit for your reimbursement.

Why choose our clinic?

We provide highly personalized care with one-on-one sessions and treatment plans built around your goals. Rather than rushing patients through appointments, we dedicate the full session to understanding your condition and helping you make meaningful progress.

Do you offer injury prevention or wellness services?

Yes. Preventing injuries is often easier — and less costly — than rehabilitating them. We offer maintenance programs, mobility work, performance training, and wellness sessions to keep you active, healthy, and performing at your best.

What is cash-based physical therapy?

In a cash-based model, you pay directly for services at the time of your visit. This approach offers:

  • Transparent pricing
  • No surprise bills
  • Freedom from insurance limitations
  • Care focused entirely on your needs

You may also use HSA or FSA funds, and reimbursement may be available depending on your insurance plan.

What makes your clinic different from traditional practices?

Our approach emphasizes:

  • One-on-one care for the full session
  • Treatment tailored specifically to you
  • Ongoing communication between visits
  • Programs designed for long-term success

You won’t be passed between providers or left to complete generic exercises on your own.

Will I pay more without using insurance?

Not necessarily. Because sessions are longer, more personalized, and goal-driven, many patients need fewer visits to achieve results. This often makes the overall cost comparable — or even lower — than traditional insurance-based therapy.

What does “out-of-network provider” mean?

Being out of network means we do not have contracts with insurance companies. You pay us directly, and if your plan allows, you can seek reimbursement from your insurer afterward. This model prioritizes quality care over administrative requirements.

Can you bill my insurance for me?

We will bill Medicare and your secondary insurance directly. However, we will not bill any other commercial insurance companies directly. Instead, we provide detailed receipts and super bills that you can submit yourself for potential reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits.

Why pay out of pocket when insurance-based clinics are available?

Many traditional clinics must treat multiple patients at once and follow strict insurance guidelines. By paying directly, you receive focused, individualized attention and advanced treatments that can produce faster, more meaningful results.
